New look.
This post will include details on my new look for the following year. Only now have I come to the realisation that black, is chic. Compared to my previous looks, this is 100% better, to wear a simple palette is much more sleek yet bold. My new look will consist of black, white & greys. I'm very into sombre fashion at the moment, with the likes of Alexander Wang and Givenchy for men.

Latest obsession: Balenciaga boots
So over on tumblr, I've been noticing a lot of images of the Balenciaga boots. Now I like them, I think they look super nice! The cut and the strap at the front make the shoe for me, not to forget that fabulous heel either. A friend of mine said "They're so ugly, but that's what makes it attractive!", I agree with her 100%.
I love them, they look super modern and chic. Wearing these are simple, most wear them with shorts or dresses (tight, short ones, like the one Park Bom wears). Whilst some opt for trousers, if so, please wear black trousers, it'll add to the chic 'feel' of the ensemble.

I'm baaaaaaack!
So on Tuesday night, my dad came home with a present...it was my home computer! I'm glad its back and I'm looking forward to some awesome posts. Get ready for a perfume review in the coming weeks :-)

I apologise.
I apologise everyone, at home my computer had suddenly broken and
I couldn’t turn it on. My dad removed the computer case and gave it his best effort
to fix it but, he was unsuccessful. So, on the same Saturday he took it to an
electronic store & they said it wouldn’t be fixed until Monday & that
we should, hopefully, get it back by next week. So until then everyone, no
posts. I hope you all can relate and stay tuned for a perfume review next week.

Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2013
The show I have been waiting all year for, I love Dolce & Gabbanna. And this year, they've made it better than ever. Their AW collection was a blast, with 'Baroque Romanticism' and now this! The show was filled with fun designs, similar to something you'd find in Spain or Sicily, the collection was very cultural and simply beautiful.

Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2013
Burberry, where should I begin? Well, I just watched an online video of the show, I thought it was amazing. The start was very light and fresh, with the use of metallics in contrast with traditional materials. From the runway, the biggest trend was metallics, very colourful ones too consisting oranges, pinks, blues, greens and of course yellow! I'm quite surprised with front row though, Dita von Teese next to Harry Styles from One Direction? I don't think so.
Christopher Bailey knows how to dress both men & women...always with a touch of sincerity & magic.

NYFW - Alexander Wang
The Alexander Wang RTW fashion show held in New York City was very interesting, consisting of cut-outs, futuristic styles, and even a glow-in-the-dark dress! Check out the images below!

Fashion's night out - 06/09/12
Fashion's night out is an event sponsored by Vogue & the CFDA. It will take place in the flagship store of United Colors of Benetton on Oxford circus on the 6th. FNO means to encourage consumers to shop and support the fashion industry during the tough economic climate.

69th Venice Film Festival Fashion Report
The review for this week is the 69th Venice Film Festival held in Venice, Italy during 29/08/12 - 08/09/12. Day one began with superb weather & fashionable A-list guests, from the likes of Kate Hudson, Naomi Watts & model Laetita Casta. There is so much to discuss, so we'll begin immediately.
1. Kate Hudson
Kate stunned as she arrived in Altier Versace, whilst her company, Matt Bellamy looked dash in a suit and quirky sunglasses. Kate looks amazing, the dress suits her very well, the nude tone dress looked amazing whilst the paparazzi were taking their pictures with flash. 9/10 - Everything looks good, even the hair & make-up!
2. Naomi Watts
Naomi Watts
chose a nude lacy gown by Marchesa & accessorised with her partner
Liev Schreiber who previously starred in 'SALT', with Angelina Jolie in 2010. I'm not too sure about this one, perhaps she's too short? I feel like the dress is wearing her, rather than the other way around. 6/10 - The dress is wearing her & that's never a good sign.
3. Laetita Casta
French model Laetita, amazed & dazzled in this revealing, black dress by Dolce & Gabbana. I think its one of the best looks of the evening, she looks very chic! The cut of the sleeves is the perfect length and the fit is nicely done. What am I am more amazed by is the lace work, just look at it! 10/10 - Viva la Dolce & Gabbana!
4. Daniela Virgilio
Italian actress Daniela Virgilio wore a unique gown for the event, standing out amidst a sea of goddess gowns. Paired with strappy Fendi sandals, smoky eyes and a black clutch, she was one of the most best dressed. I think this look is very cute, I love the detailing of the dress with the small repetitive prints of navy flowers. 8/10 - Unfortunatley, I'm not a big fan of the detailing where the top 1/2 of the torso is.
5. Isabelle Adriani
Woah...I mean, woah! Italian actress Isabelle Adriani, shocked others as she arrived to the festival in a fairytale like dress, giving her fairytale writer background, it is believable though. I don't like it at all, it should belong to unfashionable girls in high school, even then. What are they thinking?! 2/10 - Her make-up is nice though...
That just about wraps up day one! Let's see how the rest will set themselves apart from todays guests.

Style must haves: Baroque designs
Lately I have fallen in love with baroque designs, spotted on the runways of Dolce & Gabbana, to Lady Gaga to even the girls of 2NE1 in their latest music video for 'I love you'. Baroque is a style of design that never goes out of trends, anyone from a mature woman in her 60s to a young girl can pull of baroque. Only if, she wears it correctly.
Baroque was a huge trend on the runways this season, everyone from D&G to Balmain designed with baroque in mind for their latest collection. The prints were shown very extravagantly which was very elegant, yet bold and strong.
Secondly, a few celebrities have been spotted sporting this trend, from the likes of Anne Hathaway to Lady Gaga. Anne went simple in J.Mendel Resort 2013, whereas Lady Gaga wore Moschino in whilst Romania.
Finally, one of the most talked about in Korea right now. 2NE1's music video for their latest single: 'I love you'. The video sees the girls sporting designs by Roberto Cavalli which all have an element of Baroque designs.
And there you have it, baroque is a trend that you will see a lot this season, thus because of its elegance and strong impact to an outfit.

A day in pictures - 24/08/12
Yesterday I went to London to clear my mind of all the stress I have been under lately, I travelled to London alone to do some shopping and to run a few errands. I visited Oxford circus, Soho & St. Pauls. I also ran into a few tourist destinations. Shall we begin?
- I began my day at Oxford St, I decided to look for some accessories (rings to be exact). I wanted a colour palette of either silver or gold. I headed over to Topman, however I was unsuccessful as I didn't find anything to my liking.
- I then went to Starbucks, to try a new Mango & Passion fruit iced drink, it was amazing! The barista began with ice, followed by a concentrated drink. He then blended the 2 together to make my drink, the taste is refreshing and light. Perfect for summer!
- Being unsuccessful at shopping, I headed to Soho to purchase Jasmine tea from a Chinese supermarket which has over 2 floors of Asian cuisine.
- It was 12:30 & that means a healthy lunch at Itsu! I had a chicken & rice meal with green beans and wasabi sauce, tres bien!
- The beautiful interior of Itsu.
- The colourful stairs I noticed at Uniqlo.
- I went to Uniqlo to check out their latest collection, in particular I fell in love with this jacket, what do you think?
- I then went for a very long walk to Big Ben, the reason behind this? My favourite girl group, 2NE1 stood in this very spot, being a fan I decided to come here.
- Finally, I walked along the bank of the Thames river, seeing many funny & interesting acts. One of which were floating men, of course they drew a huge crowd!

I'm very keen on the idea of aztec designs for this winter, originating from Southern America. Paired with the right pieces, it could look casual yet chic. Go for bold prints with simple trousers for the stylish world traveller look.

'FAME' Part II
For those of us who were excited about Lady Gaga's debut fragrance, the trailer was released earlier this week. The trailer shows a dark and sombre side to Lady Gaga, I find it very intriguing. The footage was directed by Steven Klein and you can watch it now.

Smells like Bond, James Bond.
P&G is the consumer goods company behind many famous brands, such as Head & shoulders, Hugo Boss, Oral-B etc. Now, P&G are set to realese a new Bond-esque fragrance. So what does Bond smell like? Apparently, fresh apple, cardamom, sandalwood, and vetiver, with a hint of martini and Aston Martin leather. Bill Brace, vice president of fashion brands for P&G Prestige, calls it “unmistakably masculine.”
To purchase the fragrance, visit Harrods on August 15th, where it launches exclusively. And at just £25 a bottle, you won’t need an MI6 budget.

"FAME" Excited? Yes or no?
Lady Gaga has debuted her 1st official fragrance called "FAME". In September 2012, Gaga’s first fragrance, released through the artist’s
own Haus Laboratories in association with Coty, is the latest
breakthrough expression of her creativity.
"FAME" is the first ever black Eau de Parfum that sprays clear and becomes invisible once airborne. Gaga collaborated with fashion legends in the creation of "FAME": the bottle was designed in collaboration with Nick Knight,and the ad campaign was directed and photographed by Steven Klein.
