Teen Choice Awards Fashion Report

So the review for this week is the Teen Choice Awards (22/07/12)! Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Lea Michele & much more attended the event in sunny California to perform & accept awards they were nominated for. There is so much to talk about so we'll start right away!

   1. Selena Gomez

Selena wore a pink dress by DSquared2, which she paired with straight hair and minimal makeup. I thought she looked amazing, she's young & having fun so I think it's appropriate for her age. This is the event to wear this type of dress to, as it appeals to a younger audience. 9/10 - Young, fresh & flirty!

   2. Justin Bieber

Justin looked casual wearing an army-style print t-shirt with white trousers and matching shoes. I like how the t-shirt & trousers contrast. The trousers match the shoes, now that usually makes me hate the look. But, in this sense it makes his legs look longer and taller! White is a big trend this summer for men. Those of you who listened to your science teacher would know it actually makes the wearer cooler (temperature wise) as it reflects the sunlight! 8/10 - Similar to most of his other looks, but he wore it to the right event at least.

   3. Lea Michele

Lea arrived in Versace. The detailing of the dress is beautiful and exquisite, she finished with silver heels. The look is simple yet bold. I love the fact that she didn't accessorise much, as the dress was the statement of her ensemble, her hair too is simple. Lots of skin on show, which is very summer & chic. 9/10 - Simple yet bold.

   4. Gwen Stefani

Gwen looked super chic as she arrived with her band 'No Doubt', she looked amazing. She obviously doesn't give a damn that it's summer & I love it! Her leather vest was worn all the way to her neck which I thought completed it. She added an extra stylish element with a gold ankle bracelet which appeared to have a tiny cross pendant. The look was sort of minimalist compared to some of her wilder get-ups. 10/10 - Chic.

   5. Carly Rae Jepsen

Carly wore Lisa Ho Spring/12 RTW, it reminded me of the prints H&M did in the previous summer. I think it looks too matchy-matchy, I dislike how the blazer transitions into the bottom half of the outfit. The outfit looked a lot better on the runway, as the model was leaner, unfortunately Carly isn't. 5/10 - The dress is nice, just not on Carly.

So that's it! Tell me what you think below
